At the Dallas stop, Baggett raced to the top of the podium, scoring the first win of his professional career. Quickly proving that he was adapting to the pro ranks, Baggett finished fourth overall at the 2010 High Point National. Baggett's quick rise was soon temporarily halted when he broke his left humerus at Budds Creek.

Securing a ride for 2011 in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 250 Class with premier racing team Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki, Baggett delivered on his potential, earning 5 overall wins and finishing 3rd in points. Blake was also the 2011 Motocross of Nations Champion with Team USA.

With Dean Wilson injured and Tyla Rattray riding 450's, Baggett was now the top dog on the Pro Circuit team for the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season. Despite stiff competition from the GEICO Honda squad, Baggett held onto the red plate as the 250 Class points leader through all 12 rounds of the series and scored his first career 250 Class championship. He finished the campaign with five overall wins.

Baggett was slowed by injuries throughout 2013 and during the 2014 Supercross season, but he entered the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship as a title contender once again.

Baggett transitioned to the Yoshimura Suzuki team in 2015 for his debut season in the 450 Class. In 2017, he signed with Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS.
