Marvin Musquin got his first bike when he was four years old, and rode in his first race at age six. Even at that young age, because of his love of motorcycling, and especially supercross, he began to develop his style on the bike seen today.

Anyone who has seen Musquin race in person will testify to his modern style that flows like a well-crafted combination of man and machine.

Musquin understood quickly that only working very hard on all aspects of being a professional athlete would help him to realize his dream of one day being a Motocross World Champion. He was able to reach that dream, capturing the Motocross World Championship in September 2009 at the Brazilian MX Grand Prix. But there was more work to do before setting out on his next goal of moving to the USA to conquer new dreams and titles. Before heading to America, Musquin went on to clinch his second World Motocross title at the Dutch Grand Prix in Lierop and then won the FIM World Motocross MX2 Championship in 2010.

Musquin's American debut had to be put on hold after tearing an ACL at Bercy. He made his Lucas Oil Pro Motocross debut in 2011, finishing 13th in points despite missing 5 races.

Fully recovered and ready to take things up a notch in 2012, Musquin finished 3rd overall in 250SX West Region Points. As gears shifted to the outdoor season, Musquin was a touch of the pace of the 250 Class' "Fast Four" of Blake Baggett, Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac and Justin Barcia. Musquin seemed to improve as the year went on though, eventually entering the discussion as part of a new "Fast Five." Musquin captured his first-ever overall win at Unadilla with a 2-3 performance and finished the year 5th overall in points.

After narrowly missing out on the 250 East Region Supercross title by three points, Musquin finished third overall in 250MX points outdoors in 2013.

Musquin missed the 2014 Supercross season after tearing his ACL in the offseason but returned to the series in 2015 to capture the 250SX East Region title in dominating fashion. After securing the championship, Red Bull KTM announced that they had signed the Frenchman to a two-year extension through 2017 and that he would move up to the 450 Class starting in 2016.
