Qualifying has wrapped up at Budds Creek, host of the penultimate round of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Setting the fastest lap of the day in the 450 Class and earning the top gate pick for Moto 1 was Marvin Musquin, while Jeremy Martin qualified first in the 250 Class.

Musquin is the hottest rider in the series right now. He enters the day on a six-moto winning streak and sits just 31 points behind Eli Tomac in the championship battle at the moment. Musquin's 2.04.990 lap time topped the field, with Tomac (2:05.488) and Cooper Webb (2:06.653) coming in second and third. No one else in the 450 Class was able to turn a lap time below 2:08.

In the 250 Class, Zach Osborne has a shot at locking up the championship today. He set the second quickest lap time of the morning with a 2:05.452, more than a full second behind Martin's 2:04.187. Martin currently is in a 63-point hole in the point standings and needs a lot of help to remain in contention at the end of the day.

Lap times and qualifying results from the practice sessions are below. First motos get underway at 1 p.m. ET. (Here's how to watch.) The 450 Class will run before the 250 Class this week.
