According to Racer X Online, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki released a statement yesterday saying Joey Savatgy would miss the final round after aggravating a foot injury at Budds Creek.

Savatgy initially injured his foot at Unadilla, late in his winning moto. When Savatgy crossed the finish line, he immediately unbuckled his boot, grasping his foot in pain from what was apparently a collision with a lapped rider. Savatgy then had a gnarly crash (watch it below) during Budds Creek qualifiers, doing further damage to his already injured foot, and causing him to opt out of the day's races.

Dylan Ferrandis will also miss the final round at Ironman this weekend. Earlier this week, Racer X Online had reported that Ferrandis was waiting for reports from his doctors regarding the extent of his wrist injury.

According to his Instagram, Ferrandis has a broken scaphoid and is out for the final race of the season. This news could extend farther than just the final round of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, as Ferrandis was selected to represent France in the Motocross of Nations this year.
