A season of ups and downs for 450MX rookie Cooper Webb is once again pointing down, as he will miss Saturday's race at Washougal due to a meniscus injury in his left knee.

According to Webb, the knee injury happened midway through the second moto last weekend at Spring Creek.

"I’m definitely bummed about this knee injury," Webb said in a statement via the factory Yamaha team. "I was building some solid momentum each moto, and a very small mistake cost me significantly. With that being said, it could be much worse, and I’m fortunate this is a week-to-week deal."

With a week off coming after Washougal, the goal is for Webb to be healthy enough to race the final three rounds of the 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Webb currently sits eighth in 450MX points and has five top-five finishes to his credit this season.
