One of the interesting things about splitting the 250 Class into separate coasts during the Supercross season is that it allows some of the top 250 riders to gain a little experience on the big bike while their region is on a break.
Last year Ken Roczen showed up to Seattle to make his premier class debut aboard a 350 and finished 2nd in the Main Event. Next week at Atlanta, we'll get to see GEICO Honda's Eli Tomac make his 450 Class debut as he prepares for a possible full-time ride in the class in 2014.
Tomac, who many project to be an instant contender, will join an already stacked group of 450 riders and should only add to what's been an exciting season so far. So what was the defending 250 West champion up to tonight? Check out this tweet he sent in from home.
