Weston Peick re-signs with JGR for 2016

After a great Supercross season which saw Weston Peick emerge as a podium threat by season's end, JGR wasted no time locking up Weston Peick for one more year. The California native has re-signed with the team for 2016.

The former privateer finally got a shot on a factory team last summer during the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship and was able to turn that into a full-time gig with JGR/Toyota/Yamaha this year. His Supercross success - including two podiums at the final three races - helped ensure that he will be with the team again next year.

The 2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship kicks off this Saturday at Hangtown, and Peick will look to conitune building on his momentum. He was seventh overall in 450MX points last year, finishing inside the top ten in 19 of the 23 motos he raced.
